Thank you so much BET for allowing me the opportunity to play this tribute over and over again. What a wonderful, wonderful, spirit filled tribute. One thing I know, is that my Pastor has always said “real men, cry”! And Steve, was not concerned about the cameras, he was feeling the moment, and it was “oh so POWERFUL”. Thank you, Steve for keeping it real. I know you touched the hearts of others because that was REAL… I just wish the first few moments of your radio show would be longer than 12minutes. I must say that I tune in every morning for the first 12minutes, then I cut you off. Thanks again, BET, now I must hit the PLAY button a few more times… God Bless
I watched the Celebration of Gospel and was touched by the performance and the emotions that were released by Steve Harvey as it was dedicated to him. This sound is so touching; in a society where men are thought of and referred to with such negativity; it is my wish to have our dance troop perform this sound at our upcoming Father’s Day celebrations. I pray the annointing of this song will inspire our men to continue to serve God and embrace the responsibility of home and family life.
